Senior software engineer
Working at Google while sharing practical software-engineering lessons through Techie007 and The AI Architect.
(about)
I'm Sukhad Anand. I work as a senior software engineer at Google after spending 2.5 years at Amazon. Outside my day job, I create practical engineering content about backend systems, system design, AI agents, and software careers.
(the actual work)
My industry career runs through Amazon and Google. The public side of that work is Techie007, where I explain the engineering ideas I spend time studying: backend fundamentals, distributed systems, architecture, AI agents, and career growth.
The channel has grown to more than 71,000 YouTube subscribers, while more than 106,000 people follow my engineering posts on LinkedIn. I also write The AI Architect, a newsletter focused on system design for the AI era.
Before industry, I studied at Delhi Technological University, completed Google Summer of Code 2017 with OpenCV, and published research across computer vision and deep learning.

Amazon
Worked at Amazon before moving to Google, building the industry experience behind the engineering topics I now teach publicly.
OpenCV
Implemented and optimized face alignment for OpenCV, including training, tests, documentation, and the opencv_contrib contribution.
Delhi Technological University
Studied at Delhi College of Engineering / DTU, worked on computer-vision projects, and published research before entering industry.
(research / open source)
Computer vision and OpenCV came before big tech.
My Google Summer of Code project implemented face alignment for OpenCV. My published work includes road-crack and pothole detection, fashion recommendation, smartphone fingerprint extraction, and scene-text recognition.
